HOLLINGSWORTH 2

Full presentation model at 1/8” to 1 foot scale. Back-painted windows were sufficient for the purposes of this model but surface textures and materials of the building were meticulously represented. Landscaping was carefully done to represent the ornate garden plan and specific attention was payed to the older trees on the property as these were an important consideration in the planning process.

HOLLINGSWORTH

This is a full presentation model at 1/8” to 1 foot scale. Initially, the topographic base was commissioned and delivered to our client, who then used the topography to help design the residence. Upon completion of the drawings, the base was returned to us and the model was constructed. All walls and interior elements visible through the windows are shown correctly, although in massing form. In this case, the grounds and landscaping are quite specific and a model in their own right.

CUTAWAY MODEL

This is a 1/8"=1 foot model designed to illustrate the suite layout in a somewhat complicated townhouse. The floorplans were printed on colored paper stock and laminated to the model floors to help the viewer understand the layout.

SEATTLE TOWER

This was a large presentation model designed for use in a sales center. The scale was 1/8" = 1 foot.

NORTH VANCOUVER TOWER

This is a 3/16” = 1 foot scale presentation model designed for use in a sales center. It has lighting inside.

TEXAS TOWER

This is a 1/8” = 1 foot scale presentation model designed for use in a sales center. For ease of crating and for transport, it was made in two sections.

LARGE SCALE CABIN

This is a 1/2" =1 foot large scale presentation model designed for use in a sales center.

L.A. RESTAURANT

This is a 1/8" =1 foot scale presentation model designed for use in a sales center.

FOLIO

This is a 3/16"=1 foot scale presentation model designed for use in a sales center. It has lighting inside.

UCLUELET

This is a 1/16” = 1 foot scale presentation model designed for use in a sales center. It is unusual in that the specification called for a “diorama” approach to the context (understandable given the wonderful setting).

We believe we are a bit unique in that we have the skill sets to do this kind of work

HOCKEY ARENA

Presentation model of ice hockey arena. Model size is approximately 3' x 5'.

CONDO MODEL

 This presentation model is at a scale of 3/16 inch equals a foot. This is one size up from the conventional scale of 1/8” = 1 foot. For smaller structures it has a bit more prescence. The problem used to be a lack of available quality models of cars or people, but recently good auto models were released at this scale and we add the people models by using 1/72 figures which are very close to the desired scale.

We have a lot of strategies for showing landscape, which is an important part of the model and a place where a lot of commercial product is lacking (not ours, we hope you agree).
